A wonderful excursion to Machu Picchu in 2 days

This 2-day Machu Picchu tour is specially designed for those who waited to the last minute to purchase their Machu Picchu tickets only to find out that all tickets are sold out for your travel dates. Do not worry, this 2-day tour will allow you to visit Machu Picchu and enter circuit 2, the best circuit of Machu Picchu. You will get Machu Picchu circuit-2 tickets even if sold out at the official site. But it will require you to make a queue of about 25 minutes to 1 hour to pick up your tickets in person.
What to expect: You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at around 04:00am and arrive at Machu Picchu village by 08:41am. Upon arrival you will be met by our staff and expected to submit your passports and pick up your Circuit 2 tickets. You will spend the night at the Machu Picchu village. You are responsible to book your own hotel in Machupicchu. The next day, you will board the bus to the entrance to Machupicchu and your guide will do a 2.5hr private tour of Circuit 2 of Machu Picchu citadel. After the tour, you will board the train and bus back to Cusco. And finally, you will be transported to your hotel in Cusco.

What Is Included?

DAY 1: CUSCO TO MACHUPICCHU

07:22am Voyager Train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.
08:48am Register passports: You will be met by our staff at the train station exit. They will take you to the registration office to obtain a registration number. You must bring a printed copy of your passport or pay for photocopy on site. You have free time on your own after registration.
14:00pm approximately: Pickup your entrance tickets: Your registration number will have a specified time to pickup your entrance tickets, typically between 1pm to 3pm. You have free time on your own after picking up your tickets.
19:00pm Briefing with your guide at your hotel in Machu Picchu. (You are responsible to book your own hotel in Machu Picchu)

DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU TOUR

You will have to accept whatever time is assigned to you. However, the 9am entry time is usually the default in low season and 1pm is the usual time in high peak season

Will I able to go to the classic photo spot of Machupicchu with this tour?
Yes, you will be able to get to the classic photo spot of Machupicchu and take the picture below:
The tickets are sold out for my travel dates in the official government website. Are my tickets guaranteed? Yes. You are guaranteed that you will get entrance tickets for circuit 2, the best circuit. What is not guaranteed is the time on your ticket. As long as you follow our staff instructions, you will have no problems in getting circuit 2 tickets However, only 1000 last-minute tickets are available per day. During Peruvian holidays only, there is a 1% chance that when you arrive, 1000 other tourists may show up with no tickets. Only in this very rare scenario, you may have to stay one extra day in Machupicchu.

Can I change my return train if when I pick up my last-minute tickets I am assigned an earlier entry time? The answer is Probably. The train company policy is that you cannot change train departures at the last minute. But usually the train staff are considerate and if there is availability, they will let you change your return train.
You are responsible to go in person to the train station and make this change. The train company may charge you 10% + difference in fare to change your train ticket to an earlier departure. However, if you do change your train to an earlier time, you will loose the transfer to you hotel. We hire the train company to take you to your hotel once you arrive in Cusco. This is called "door-to-door" service. If the train company changes your return train to an earlier time, you are responsible to hire your own taxi back to your hotel.

Can I also add Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Moutain or Huchuypicchu to my last-minute tour? The answer is YES. When you pick up your circuit 2 entrance tickets you can also request an additional Huaynapicchu or Huchuypicchu or Machupicchu Mountain ticket. There is usually availability. But you have to bring an additional 200PEN cash in Peruvian Sol per person to cover the amount of these additional entrance tickets. We recommend you request the earliest Huaynapichu or Machupicchu Mountain and then request your circuit 2 entrance ticket for 4 hours later. In the case of Huchuypicchu, only 2 hours later.

Can I start from Urubamba or Ollantaytambo? The answer is YES. But you must contact our customer service staff prior to making your booking so we can modify your reservation so you can start your tour from Ollantaytambo or Urubamba.
