NO. The Huaynapicchu entrance ticket does not allow you to take the classic photo spot of Machupicchu. You have to purchase an additional entrance ticket for circuit 2. If you plan to do this, you must tell us in advance so we can automatically put you on the 19:00pm return train so you will have enough time to do both circuits. Additionally, you have to bring 152 Peruvian sol in cash additional so that you will be able to take the picture below: Machupicchu classic photo spotThis photo was taken from Circuit 2 Lower Terrace which is not included in this tour package but you can add it on the same day of tour by bringing 152 Peruvian sol in cash.

The tickets are sold out for my travel dates in the official government website. Are my tickets Huayna Picchu tickets guaranteed? Yes. You are guaranteed that you will get entrance tickets for circuit 3 + Huaynapicchu. As long as you follow our staff instructions, you will have no problems in getting Huayna Picchu tickets. However, only 100 last-minute Huayna Picchu tickets are available per day. And only during Peruvian holidays, there is a 1% chance that when you arrive, over 100 tourists (mainly locals) may show up with no tickets wanting Huayna Picchu. Only in this very rare scenario, you will have the choice to either take a Circuit 1 Machu Picchu Mountain ticket so you can take the classic picture and keep the tour to 2-days, or you will have to stay one additional night in Machu Picchu village to get your circuit 3 Huayna Picchu entrance ticket. In such rare situations, you are still responsible to pay for your additional hotel costs in Machu Picchu village. Since we do this every day, we usually warn you ahead of time if this may be a possibility as we see the number of tourists increasing. But sometimes a sudden rush of locals may show up and take us all by surprise as there is no way to know this in advance. From past experience, we know it's around the 28th of July, Peru's Independence day, and mid-term break on the third week of August or mid December when Peruvian students book their graduation trips. If it happens on your reservation date, please be understanding. We will do our best to warn you ahead of time but it it takes us by surprise we will do everything we can do reschedule your trains at our loss so you can visit Huayna Picchu on the third day.

Can I change my return train if when I pick up my last-minute Huayna Picchu tickets I am assigned the earliest time 7am? The answer is Probably. The train company policy is that you cannot change train departures at the last minute. But usually the train staff are considerate and if there is availability, they will let you change your return train.
You are responsible to go in person to the train station and make this change. The train company may charge you 10% + difference in fare to change your train ticket to an earlier departure. However, if you do change your train to an earlier time, you will loose the transfer to you hotel. We hire the train company to take you to your hotel once you arrive in Cusco. This is called "door-to-door" service. If the train company changes your return train to an earlier time, you are responsible to hire your own taxi back to your hotel.

Can I also add Machu Picchu Circuit 2 to my last-minute tour? The answer is YES MOST DAYS. When you pick up your Huayna Picchu entrance tickets you can also request an additional a Circuit 2 entrance ticket or a Machupicchu Mountain entrance ticket. There is usually availability unless the demand of tickets is so high on the day of your visit that the Machu Picchu Cultural Center will only allow 1 ticket per visitor. If you are allowed to pick up 2 tickets, you have to bring an additional 152PEN cash in Peruvian Sol per person to cover the cost of the Circuit 2 Classic or Circuit 2 Lower Terrace entrance ticket. We recommend you request the earliest Huaynapichu which is 7am and then request your circuit 2 entrance ticket for 4 hours later 11am. Our staff on site will assist you. If you plan to add Circuit 2 to your tour, you must let us know in advance so we assign the 19:00pm return train, this train time slot will give you plenty of time to do Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu circuit 2 on the same day.

You may cancel this tour with a penalty of 120 USD per person if you cancel with a 72-hour advanced notice. This is because the bus tickets are not refundable and the train company only allows cancellations by paying a penalty

If you cancel with less than 72 hours advanced notice, no refund of any kind can be made regardless of the reason of your cancellation. Sorry, but we are firm on this as the train, bus tickets (4 of them required) are not refundable. In addition, the work to secure a private guide, the bus tickets, the train tickets, the taxi, and the bus to the entrance, the taxes and the accouting costs do not give us any room to give you any refund if you tell us last minute.

You may change the tour date only, if you give us a 72 hour notice. And you must pay a 30USD penalty per person to change your tour reservation to a new date.

In extremely high demand dates, usually during Peruvian holidays like Peru's Independence day around July 28 or when Peruvian high school students go to Machu Picchu as part of their graduation during the months of September and October , there is a 1% chance you may have to stay one more night in Aguas Calientes without advanced notice. There are only 500 circuit 2 tickets available daily, and In situations when there are more tourists than tickets available, you will have the choice to either take a Circuit 1 Machu Picchu Mountain ticket or Circuit 3 Royalty ticket or Circuit 3 Huayna Picchu ticket to keep the tour to 2-days, or you will have to stay one additional night in Machu Picchu village to get your circuit 2 entrance ticket. In such situations, you are still responsible to pay for your additional hotel costs in Machu Picchu village. Since we do this every day, we usually warn you ahead of time if this may be a possibility, but the first occurrence takes us all by surprise and it may be the case that it happens with you. Please be understanding.
