An experienced, professional Inca Trail guide will accompany you from KM104 to Machu Picchu, moving at your pace while providing insight into the ruins, flora, birdlife, and hidden wonders along the way. A licensed guide is required to enter the Inca Trail from KM104.

Your guide will meet you at KM104—the official starting point—and lead you along the standard route. This includes a hike to the stunning Wiñay Wayna ruins, followed by a break for a packed lunch (please bring your own). You’ll then continue along Circuit 1C through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), concluding at the Upper Terraces (Circuit 1B), where you'll enjoy iconic panoramic views and take the classic photographs of Machu Picchu.
